Bicycle Basket Bazaar

The Worcester Flea was super excited to have organised the first Bicycle Basket Bazaar in Worcester! It was a fun event where local artists, crafters and makers as well as vintage accessory and bric-a-brac traders got together and sold their wares from their bicycles!

The 'World Famous Bicycle Basket Bazaar' was founded by Bill Pollard from The Ministry of Bicycles back in 2006, and it's with his kind permission that this event came to Worcester!

It took place at Worcester's City Museum and Art Gallery on Forgate Street, on Saturday 21st June 2014 from 10.30am to 4.30pm

It was a non-profit event to coincide with national Bike Week, support local traders and our wonderful City Museum and Art Gallery.

As well as a bicycles & baskets, traders used suitcases, boxes, other baskets, boards and stands etc to sell from. The idea was to think outside of the usual table top displays and get creative with the space.

This event was sponsored by Barbourne Bicycles - visit their Facebook page HERE.
