May's Worcester VE Flea!

Thanks to all, traders and visitors who came out to the Worcester Flea on Sunday. It was a great day with lots of people out enjoying the sunshine! We had a fun with our 'VE' theme and traders dressed up, put up the red, white and blue bunting and got into the spirit of it!

We had gramophone music and delicious handmade cakes as well as a visit from the Worcester Vintage Cycling Club!

The VE Flea - Sunday 5th May

It's nearly time for the next Worcester Flea! May is a special 1940s themed 'VE Flea' to celebrate the anniversary of VE Day (on 8th May), so we'll be putting up the red, white and blue bunting, playing some 30s and 40s gramophone tunes and dressing up in 40s fashions!

These are just a few of the traders who'll be joining us, selling their vintage and handmade treasures, and we've got even more new stalls this month!

We'll have some delicious, homemade cakes and crafty items from 'Cakes and Crafts' who are The Cake Crusader and The Craft Invader! They will be bringing a mix of lovely homemade bakes, biscuits and sweets as well as handmade goodies such as jewellery, bags and puppets. There will also be the chance to decorate a flag on their stall so look out for that and don't be shy to have a go!

 We're also joined for the first time by Henrietta Goose who will be selling their beautiful handmade cushions, bunting and gift items. These are pictures of items currently available from their website:

Sam's Homemade Heaven is another new trader at the Flea. Look out for Sam's lovely vintage inspired homemade craft and gifts, here she is at a recent craft fair:

Daisy Mae Vintage will be joining us again after their first time at the Worcester Flea last month! They have a very attractive stall full of super vintage homewares and gardenalia:

Another newbie from last month, Ruby Slippers Vintage will also be joining us again! Their selection of vintage clothing, linens and accessories and collectables went down a treat last month:

There will also be some handmade, 1940s-style brooches on sale from Mrs B's Brooches:

News just in! Another new trader to the flea this month is Ring o' Roses, who'll be bringing their vintage clothing and accessories!

We'll also of course be joined by regulars Bus Stop Vintage and The Moore Collection who can be found in their usual spot at the Broad Street end of the market!

The VE Flea - Sunday 5th May

Next month's Worcester Flea will be known as the VE Flea! It will have a 1940s/wartime theme as it is close to the anniversary of VE Day on the 8th May.

We'll be putting up the bunting and dressing up in our vintage 40s best! We'll have some old gramophone tunes too!

There will be the usual great mix of traders selling vintage clothing, antiques, collectables, kitchen and garden-alia, bric-a-brac, haberdasheries and lovely homemade items. There will also be some vintage and handmade goodies tying in with the 1940s theme.

Don't forget parking is £1 all day at CrownGate multi story!

April's Worcester Flea - Photos!

Thanks to all, traders and visitors who braved the slightly chilly temperature at April's Worcester Flea today. We were rewarded with some sunshine at least!

A good day was had with lots of stalls and lots of visitors. There was a fantastic array of quality vintage, antique, upcycled and handmade items on offer.

The Worcester Flea - April

The next Worcester Flea is on Sunday 7th April at our usual CrownGate Outdoor Market venue on Angel Place, from 10.30am. April is set to be a corker with a bunch of brand new traders joining our regulars selling vintage, antiques, upcycled and handmade items!

Bus Stop Vintage make a welcome return this month and always have a super selection of clothing, bags and jewellery:

Kate rejoins the Flea after a break for the Winter with her lovely stall of vintage goodies including clothing, hats, tins and jewellery to name a few:

A first for the Flea: we've got Crepe Escapes joining us this month and serving their delicious crepes, so come and have your breakfast at the Flea next Sunday, scoff your crepes as you mooch for vintage treasure!

Also a newbie to the Worcester Flea is Hobbychic, turning a love of upcycling into a fun stall of spruced up furniture:

Another new stallholder this month is Daisy Mae Vintage, they have a droolsome selection of vintage homeware, crocks and kitchenalia!

The Worcester Flea supports local and independent traders and is a fun, free event with a friendly atmosphere, in the heart of the city. Please help us spread the word and hope you can make it on the 7th!

The Worcester Flea Sunday 3rd March

It's that time again! Nearly the first Sunday of the month and Worcester Flea time! As usual we'll be at CrownGate Outdoor Market, on Angel place from 10.30am until 4.30pm.

This month's stallholders include:

Worcester's finest purveyors of affordable Vintage, Second Hand Rose will be trading at the Flea for the first time! Owner Clare will be getting selling off some of her personal collection of vintage homewares and there'll be some bargain vintage and accessories to be had!

Angela Longmore is joining us again after the success of her fabulous stall last month, with a great selection of vintage items and collectables:
