No More Worcester Flea Dates

It can now be confirmed that the Worcester Flea is to end. There will be no more dates at Angel Place.

No suitable, affordable alternative venue was provided for the Worcester Flea during the Angel Place renovations.

CrownGate Market has now been taken over by a new promotions company who will be putting on their own markets. No further information has been given to us.

All that remains is to thank everyone who has supported our little, friendly market over the last few years and to all the super traders who have joined us!

August's Worcester Flea - Our Third Birthday & Possibly Our Last?!

Thanks to everyone who came to The Worcester Flea on Sunday, it was the perfect 3rd birthday! We had lots of really great stalls with lovely items on offer, it was sunny and packed with visitors all day, hurrah!

The future of the Worcester Flea is still uncertain. This will be our last date on the old CrownGate Market. Due to the timing of the renovation to Angel Place it may not be possible to continue the Flea elsewhere, even when we're finally informed of an alternative market space that is apparently being provided. We also don't know what the plans are for the new market area until it's finished, so sadly we've been completely left in limbo.

If we are able to continue it will be posted on here and on our Facebook page.

In the meantime, thanks to everyone who has supported our little market over the three years! It's a tiny, DIY enterprise with no big budgets and no outside support, just trying to bring something nice and interesting to Worcester, which I think we achieved thanks to the regular support from great traders and customers. Thank you!

The Worcester Flea 2014

Happy New Year all!

The Worcester Flea will be back on Sunday 2nd February and we'll be at CrownGate Market, Angel Place as usual, at least until March when renovation works are due to commence on the market area.

We're looking forward to be back on the market in February to kick start 2014's year of trading! We'll be joined by fab new and regular traders in Feb, with a great variety of items on offer including handmade crafty pieces, vintage clothing and accessories, costume jewellery, antiques and collectables, furniture and furnishings, kitchen and gardenalia and much more!

As usual it's just £1 parking all day on Sundays at CrownGate multi story car park and large or bulky items can be picked up directly from the market area by car after 4.30pm.

The Worcester Flea - Sunday 6th October 2013

I can't quite believe that there's only three more Worcester Fleas of the year! Our next one is this Sunday 6th October at our usual spot, CrownGate Outdoor Market on Angel Place, 10.30-4.30pm. Don't forget that parking is just £1 all day at CrownGate multi story car park!

Joining us in October is fab furniture and small collectables from The Moore Collection, lovely vintage clothing and accessories from Bus Stop Vintage and Vintage Tramp; vintage and handmade goodies from It's Sew Kay and Simply Chic; handmade gifts and pieces for the home from Sam's Homemade Heaven and vintage clothing and homewares from new-to-the-Flea traders Curious Cuckoo. Do visit our trader's facebook pages and show your support!

We will also be joined by new trader Fay of Faybelline selling her lovely handcrafted items:

And new trader Vintage Haven bringing their super selection of vintage jewellery and accessories!

The Worcester Flea 1st September

Just a few days until the next Worcester Flea on Sunday 1st September. As usual we'll be at CrownGate Outdoor Market on Angel Place from 10.30am to 4.30pm. 

Don't forget that it's just £1 all day parking at CrownGate multi story car park, and any large items purchased at the Flea can be collected at the end of the day by car, directly from the market stalls.

Joining us this month in their regular spot at the Broad Street end of the market, is the fabulous Moore Collection with their lovely upcycled furniture (which can also be delivered!) and a selection of vintage collectables and homeware.

Lovely vintage homeware and kitchenalia will be on offer from new stall holder White Elephant Vintage: 

There will be a huge stall of super vintage clothing and accessories from new regular trader Vintage Tramp.

We'll also be joined by regulars Daisy Mae Vintage and their lovely vintage homewares, kitchenalia and gardenalia.

Sally's Sweet Oasis will  be returning with delicious sweets, handmade fudge and sweet gifts!

There will be gorgeous vintage linens and haberdashery items from Gill's stall as well as haberdashery, fabrics, patterns and more the fabulous Spinster's Emporium and from Miss Bertie's stall.

New vintage and antique hunters Squirrel will be joining us again with a great mix of accessories and items for the home.

Regulars Linda and Christine will be bringing their wonderful large jewellery stall with lots of brooches plus sterling silver and costume jewellery, as well as compacts and other trinkets.

It's Sew Kay are back again this month with their lovely combination of handmade and vintage goodies.

Sam's Homemade Heaven will be back in their new regular pitch at the top of the market with fantastic handmade cushions and small handmade gift and home items.

We'll also be joined by Jenny again who sells a super range of vintage and antique collectables, such as vases, homeware, vintage artwork and more.

We're also very excited to be joined by Jane of Burgundy Bygones who's coming all the way from France with a fab selection of French vintage finds to tantalise Worcester vintage hunters!

Thanks to everyone, traders and visitors, who were at the Worcester Flea on Sunday and celebrated our 2nd anniversary!

Some rain was forecast for the middle of the day but this turned into heavy rain for practically the whole day! Most unfortunate but thankfully the market roof kept most of it out and it didn't much dampen the spirits of the traders or the shoppers!

The Worcester Flea - July Photos!

Thanks to everyone who came out to The Worcester Flea on Sunday 7th July! It was a gloriously sunny day and as usual there were lots of lovely things on offer at our small but perfectly formed market!

The Worcester Flea - 2nd June 2013

May appears to have whizzed by at lightning speed and it's nearly time for the next Worcester Flea already! Sunday 2nd June is the next date and as usual we've more new traders joining our merry gang, selling their vintage, upcycled, antiques, and handmade items.

This month we'll be helping to raise money for St Richard's Hospice as new stallholder Andrea will be selling some delicious homemade cakes in aid of the charity, so don't forget to stop by and support this super good cause!

Another new stallholders this month is Lottie's Vintage Attic who will be selling their fab vintage and upcycled pieces:

April's Worcester Flea - Photos!

Thanks to all, traders and visitors who braved the slightly chilly temperature at April's Worcester Flea today. We were rewarded with some sunshine at least!

A good day was had with lots of stalls and lots of visitors. There was a fantastic array of quality vintage, antique, upcycled and handmade items on offer.

The Worcester Flea - April

The next Worcester Flea is on Sunday 7th April at our usual CrownGate Outdoor Market venue on Angel Place, from 10.30am. April is set to be a corker with a bunch of brand new traders joining our regulars selling vintage, antiques, upcycled and handmade items!

A first for the Flea: we've got Crepe Escapes joining us this month and serving their delicious crepes, so come and have your breakfast at the Flea next Sunday, scoff your crepes as you mooch for vintage treasure!

Also a newbie to the Worcester Flea is Hobbychic, turning a love of upcycling into a fun stall of spruced up furniture:

Another new stallholder this month is Daisy Mae Vintage, they have a droolsome selection of vintage homeware, crocks and kitchenalia!
